Default 2000 1500 sport 5.9 to 5.2 swap?

I have a 2000 Ram 1500 Sport. Bought a 5.9 motor from a junkyard, when I went to pick it up they had already sold it. They "couldn't refund my card" so they promised a replacement motor. After 2 weeks of back and forth, they called and said they had found one. After getting it home, realized it was a 5.2. Will it bolt up as is or what do I need to swap out for it to?

Take the motor back, and demand what you paid for. A 5.9. You won't be happy with the smaller motor.

The whole 'can't refund your card' thing is a lie. The same machine that processes your payment, can process your refund. They just don't want to give you your money back.

Call the financial institution that handles your card and explain the situation. They'll most likely initiate a charge-back on the vendor and you'll be credited your funds.

BUT -- Do it quickly. Do not wait on any change of heart from the salvage yard or promises, unless any promises are IN WRITING. The cutoff for most charge-backs is 30-days.
