Default p0601

ok here goes.

I had a CEL and took my truck in. the first shop told me I needed an evap pump replaced. this has been a few months back. I recently checked the codes myself and came up with p0601 code. for a faulty eco or low power to ecm.

after researching I found that some dodges will pull power from the ecm when the evap pumps leaks or malfunctions is there any way to test for this. I have noticed that many of the evap hoses are in pretty bad shape and I am going to replace them next weekend.

just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or if I should bite the bullet and purchase an ecm.

thanks for your help today

That's a memory error in the PCM itself. Generally means a failed PCM.
