Default Faulty Seatbelt timer module

Ok, so I have: 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT Laramie Quad cab

and the Seatbelt timer module has gone bad so may front seatbelts are locked. My truck has been down for a couple of months now.
There are videos online suggest cutting and splicing the wiring harness. But I really don’t want to do cut the harness for serveral reason.
1) I dont know what all the Seatbelt timer module controls.
2) Cutting the harness could affect other safty feature.
I have searched the web, checked with all the parts houses locally and online, and have made several calls to Dodge. I can’t find a replacement anywhere.

I was hoping that someone on here could tell me exactly what all this Seatbelt timer module controls and if there are any compatible replacements not on the compatiblity list.

That's cool
let me know when you are able.
As long as home is not in Texas or Florida I'm still interested.

The simplist issue for a bad seatbelt module would be that the wiring under the seats has gone bad due to stuffing junk under the seats. Beyond that money is required.
