Default Shift issues

hey guys, i have a question. i have a 94 dodge ram 1500 5 speed, 4wd. The problem i am having is shifting while driving. while accelerating, i can shift through the gears with no problem. slowing down, i cannot shift into 2nd gear from 3rd until i have slowed down far enough or rev it up to get it to go in. once im in second gear, it stays. no popping sounds or slipping issues. Someone told me it might be a bent shift fork but i am not sure. thanks for all the help guys.

Manual trans?

Maybe bent shift fork, or, possibly the syncros are toast.

To test the synchros double clutch it. To do this you press in clutch tap the gas and press the clutch in again and shift.
