Whining, oil consumption, high idle, plenum again already?
#12
Well got it all fixed today. 10 hours with doing the kegger mod which I didn't do the first time. All I have to say is use a good plenum gasket, and don't cheap out on the doorman kit. The way theat gasket is made is prone to fail no matter what you do. It has a metal cut out between two gaskets, and when the slightest amount of oil gets on the paper, it breaks away from the tin cutout and fails.
My pictures aren't loading so I'll get some tomorrow. This time I made sure to use a good gasket, a victor reinz. Hopefully, I'll never have to be in there again.
