Fitting 20x12's the right way?
Morning y'all,
I'm back with another question about my 94 1500. I really like the look of 20x12 wheels. I found a set I like for a good price. They are 20x12 with a -51mm offset which I know will be hard to accommodate on my truck. I would like to wrap them in a 33" tire. My truck is a 2WD 1500 at stock ride height. What steps would I have to take to get these wheels to fit properly (or somewhat properly lol)? Longer control arms? Coil spacers?
Thanks!

That should be right about 4" backspacing...... which is about right. Being that wide though, I would expect 33's to make contact with the outer wheel opening when you turn.......
Don't think you can do 3" spacers without putting a lot of strain on the balljoints on a 4x2 though... I think 2.5 is the max, without doing other work as well. Probably still have to do some fender carving to clear the tires.
Would look pretty cool though.
Best I can offer is, mount up the fronts, set the truck back down, turn the wheels lock to lock, and see what you get.
