It’s not making any timing chain noise and runs perfect should I be proactive with it or Waite for some noise before changing it.

I changed out mine when I had to be in there anyway, due to the timing cover leaking coolant....... My truck had 180K or so on it at the time.. and I was stunned at how loose the chain was. (and it didn't make any noise either....) I was even more amazed at how much better the truck ran with the new chain....... that was probably the single biggest improvement in driveability.

It made a big difference in ours also. I figured since he just buttoned it up and was running good, to leave it alone for now. It's a tough call. It's a lot of work to get back to it, but I believe it would make a noticeable difference. He might be a good candidate for the HS rocker arms also.
