Default 2000 Gas 5.9L Sputters and cuts off

2000 Dodge 1500 5.9L Gas
Had fuel pump changed. Ran fine for a week.
Started it up and it started sputtering and cut off.
Could not get it to start back. Towed back to mechanic. Next day they said it cranked right up and could not get it to repeat. I picked up and 2 days later I stopped at grocery store and came back out and it started sputtering and cut off. Would not start back. I called mechanic and they said to check the fuel rail relief of nipple. I pressed it in and no fuel. They replaced fuel pump again. Now 5 days later it is doing the exact same thing. What could it be?

Fuel pump relay? Bad connections in a whole host of possible places?

Try swapping the relay with the horn relay. See if the problem goes away.
