When I turn my headlights on the highbeam indicator comes on also. When I turn my fog lights on the highbeam indicator gets dim.... When I click on my high beams my headlights go dark. Any ideas?

 

What are you working on?

 

Perhaps the headlight switch. My headlights sporadically went off while driving at night and scared the crap out of me. New headlight switch (bought on Amazon, following install videos on YouTube) and it has worked perfectly ever since.

 

It's a 2001 ram 1500.

 

Sport model?

 

Slt Laramie 5.9.

Check the back of the headlight switch first.......
