Unhappy Not sure if I'm in the right place, new here

We have a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 and it runs like a raped ape. However someone tore out the. Top of the Dash and I'm thinking it's because all the gauges lights and all are not working. And also we are getting a no bus warning. And the wipers won't work. So looking for some input if anyone can help. All I know for $1000 and runs awesome I got a deal. But a bit ill about the Dash tore up. I appreciate any and all help. Thanks

You want to be in the 2nd gen ram section. (I'll move the thread)

You can download a service manual for your truck from here.

Thanks y'all. I was hoping some had the same problem and could enlighten me a bit more. I watched a few videos on the no bus problem gonna try those or just get a pull a part computer and see if that helps that problem. As far as the Dash I guess we may have to install our own odometers. Idk just lost. It's a great truck besides these issues.

Check the connectors that go on the pcm, There have been other with no bus issue that it was a bad connection at pcm. You can search for other posts that relate to the no bus. Just use the "search this forum" at the top.

the reason the top of the dash is gone is because they are KNOWN for cracking and falling apart

as moparite states " check the pcm connection " I have seen where a couple of the pins had rust on them
causing an issue.. some careful cleaning and dielectric grease can hopefully fix it if this is your issue
