Default speed sensor adaptor leak

95 dodge ram 5.9L

1. I have a trans fluid leak at where the trans speed sensor adaptor meets with the trans tail housing
(the output speed sensor sits inside the adapter. both units have an o'ring gasket)
2. there is no leaks between the sensor and the adapter housing.
3 so I believe I need an adapter o'ring. has anyone had this problem. any tips on replacing the gasket would be appreciated.
4. I cannot find the o'ring on any parts website. I do not want to have to purchase the entire part to get an o'ring.
5. does anyone know the size of this o'ring?

May have to pull it, and take the o-ring in to the parts store, and have them match it up. I am not finding it in the parts manual, or online sites.

tks "hey you" I placed the truck on supports and let it run in gear to expose the leak. interestingly, I could not detect a leak while the truck was running in gear (15-20 minutes). but when I cut the engine off a small amount of wetness showed up at the leak point. not sure why it would not leak while running. it is a small "nuisance" leak. I am in no hurry to fix it till it gets worse. the fluid level has not gone down to any measurable degree.

Might be able to pull it, put a little RTV on it, and seal it up that way..... once it gets annoying enough.

problem solved: replaced o'ring in speedo adapter (also called "speedometer pinion gear housing"). dodge part# is 6035709. purchased from ram dealership. around $7. no more leaking. I also learned that an oring can be bad even if it looks good. the old one was pliable and showed no wear, but when the new one was installed, the leak stoped.
