With only 100,000 on yours I would........
1 Fix the plenum, install a new timing chain set, and water pump
2 Install your rockers and ECM
3 Work on building the 360 while enjoying the extra power of the 318

My 95 hasn't seen the road in almost a year. I have a company truck and my diesel so I never drive it.

I think you guys are right. I'm going to get my Spare intake and get the plenum plate on. And swap them over. Then build the 360 in my shop a little at a time. Do I really need to install a new timing chain? I will only drive it for a spare if something is wrong with the other truck.

And one thing I didn't forgot about. My truck uses a bit of coolant. I fill up the overflow and over a month or so it's empty. But the radiator never seems to get low maybe I just never let it go that long. Is there a common place for coolant to leak and maybe get bernt off before it drips?

Bypass hose from water pump to intake manifold. With everything in place, you simply cannot see it. It drips on top of the timing cover, and the coolant just evaporates away, due to heat. Thermostat housing is another likely candidate.

the bypass hose was one thing I was thinking of. I'm pretty sure it's not the Tstat neck because I replaced the thermostat and had problems with that leaking it's dry there now.
