Default nv3500 transmission swap to a 5.2l 318
I have a 5 speed nv3500 transmission from a 03 dodge ram 1500 3.7l, im trying to find out if the transmission will bolt up to my dodge dakotas 5.2l 318

Sure, if the bolts line up. It was used on the 4.7 as well but maybe the flanges changed.

Call these guys since they list it as a different part number so something may have changed.

The bellhousing on the NV3500 is part of the casting for the trans case I believe. If the 3.7 uses the same bolt patter as the 4.7, then all the bolts will line up, except for one.......
