Default no power in gear

Hi all, If you read my other posts, I was swapping a 5.2 from a 2003 ram van into a 1998 ram 1500 sport. I finally got it all finished and up and running, installed a new exhaust system yesterday and the only thing I have left is replacing the oil pressure switch. Everything is working except the oil pressure gauge, no lights on anywhere except check gauges. I went to use it today and I have almost no power in gear, in park it revs just fine and the accelerator is easy to push, in gear the pedal is very hard to press and it has no power, it seems to shift gears just fine and the tach is where it's supposed to be, it sounds fine just no power?

What's binding when you put it in gear? (think I would check for that with the trans in gear, but, the engine OFF...... less likelihood of getting ran over that way.)

Does the trans cable pull hard when in gear?
