Park rod??!!
Help. Did solenoid rebuild. But I did it the hard way. I didnt put truck in neutral first and i pulled the parking rod with the valve body instead of leaving it in. Now i cant get truck to shift. I have not put pan back on yet. Want to make sure it shifts first. I removed VB again and re attempted. I need some guidance. Should i put park rod in first? Then VB and attach before i bolt it up? Where should i put my gear lever and how should i orient my rooster comb? Ive been searching and i can get some answers but not quite the ones i need. This is my first attempt at transmission work. Job should have been easier than it was but i suppose you cant bake a cake without cracking a few eggs.
