Its 245 i believe, the 5.2 is 230 horsepower, the only real differnce between the blocks is torque, hope this helps

If I'm not mistaken the torque difference really isn't that big between the 5.9 and 5.2 either. I believe it's 300lb/ft of torque for the 5.2 and only 310lb/ft of torque for the 5.9. I remember this because a buddy of mine has a 5.9 and I have a 5.2 and we checked em out in the owners manual and were shocked of the measly difference. I beleive the big difference is in the horsepower rating. Can't remember for 100% certainty.

Look at the white sticker under the hood with the catalyst information. Not hard to find, and it will say the engine size in displacement, and also in cubic inches.

the 5.9 has 15 more horsepower and 30 more fl/lbs of tourqe than the 5.4, thats quoted from dodge, not really a great difference is there?

The only difference I've ever heard of was that the 5.9 accepted mods better than the 5.4

When you pop the hood you'll see a diagram with belt placements and what not and on the white sticker (if it's there) it will tell you.

Yeah that sticker will tell you. If it's a V8 it's either a 5.2L which is a 318 or a 5.9L which is the 360. I'm not sure what the 6cyl they offer in these trucks was. I always thought the horsepower was around the 245 also but I think thats at the crank because I was a dyno chart from K&N hsowig how much the CAI added and it looked to be slightly under 200 HP on the dyno.
