Default Fuel pump confusion

Hopefully someone can help me I bought a fuel pump assembly online when it came in I went to install it only to find that my truck has the walbro pump can I use the regular pump assembly that I have or is there a difference in the pressures there is a pigtail on the truck where it can fit the 6pin or the 4 pin is there a diffence

Why are you replacing the pump?

If the module hasn't been modified for the Walbro pump, the new one should go right in........

So far as I know, the walbro pumps never came stock.......
