Mine is the 29 WX Classic, it is about 12 years old, and is one of the good ones - just to set the record straight. I would like to find a Galaxy with the built-in linear though.

The only brand I have ever seen besides Cobra and Uniden is Maxon. A friend of mine had one and it didn't last at all. Go for a Cobra or a Uniden is my advice.
