How to fix my no bus on dodge ram van 2500

Default How to fix my no bus on dodge ram van 2500

No bus on odometer thinking if a bad ground would cause that. And where and how many grounds is there

No bus would a bad ground cause that problem and where and how many grounds is there on my van

Good question, since I am a big fan of having lots of ground connections. I have added a #4 wire from the starter housing to the battery negative since that is the biggest amp draw. Along with an added ground to the frame and pcm. I did notice that each head has a ground to the firewall and have connected them to the battery also. Using steel as a ground connector location I don't believe is a good plan since steel is such a poor conductor of electricity.

No bus usually means bad PCM. What year/engine is your van? I'll help you out the best I can.
