Default 99 5.9 no start issue, has spark and fuel..STUMPED

He guys, got this issue with the truck..it has always started right up with zero issues and has been the most reliable truck I've owned....hoping to get some suggestions to try rather than just throwing parts at it.....it cranks over, acts like it wants to start but won't. I can hear fuel pump in tank, fuel pressure is good at rail, coil is sparking, I've pulled each plug and turned it over and they're are all sparking....plugs were all pretty wet with fuel when I pulled each. I've even sprayed ether in TB and still nada. Would a faulty cam sensor (pick up coil) or crankshaft sensor cause these symptoms? Or would yhere be no spark or no fuel with faulty sensors? Thanks in advance....tony

Need to be able to plug in, and see what the PCM thinks is going on. But, I would take a look at the coolant temp sensor. Should be next to the thermostat housing...... make sure it is plugged in good, and in good condition.

Yeah, problem is, getting it there. If you can beg/borrow/rent one, that would be the hot ticket. Lot cheaper than a tow bill.

I had the same problem with my truck. After about $1000 in parts I was finally able to get a friend of mine that is a certified dodge tech to come out and look at it and it took him about 2 minutes to figure out that it was a clogged catalytic converter.
