Wouldn't a failing pcm stop and just not start back up until replaced? But I think you might be on to something with the bad sensors. I'm going to try to find something original and try that.ill let you guys know. I did just order another one should be here Thursday.
im decently mechanically inclined but definitely not an expert, so I’m not sure about the pcm. But I do know the crank sensors seem to be notorious for going out on the V10’s and that the eBay ones are ****. Are the one’s you ordered from eBay? Seemed like the ones off eBay maybe work for a few days or a week or two then **** the bed. People know that though so you might end up spending more than you would think on one. Mine was 400$ but it was worth it. Found mine at a junkyard. I would also recommend joining the group on Facebook “Dodge Ram V10 Magnum”. Tons of people with knowledge on there about the truck.
I have a gas 1999 Dodge Ram, 5.9. Random stall. WHen it does stall, the gas gauge goes dead. the truck will crank but does not start. WHen the gas gauge goes live, the truck strts right up. The fuel pump and relay have been replaced.
