Default 3rd brake light problem

2001 Didn't Ram 2500 with 96 wiring. Bought a LED 3rd brake light from eBay it said for 95-02 Rams. My problem is one I plug it in (even after the truck has been off for hours) the cargo lights come on at full brightness. How would I go about fixing this?

Take a look at the wiring diagrams on this site and figure out which wire is giving the issue.

I have the family for both years and I can't seem at all to figure it out. The factory cargo light wire don't have power until the 3rd brake light is plugged in.

Well I read 2 different problems with these lights. They stay dim for a little bit after the truck shuts off (I can add a resistor no biggie) and the problem I'm having now (which nobody posts back with what they fixed it with)
