01 ram 1500 4x4
My t case is making this weird howling noise when driving (i can only here it when going slow). The video was made with the rear tires off the ground and spinning the rear tires by hand. Fluid is full and clean. what do you guys think?

 

Screw the noise; where'd you get that custom crossmember and control arms?

Ah. Shouldn't a squeak be a dry seal?

 

maybe. im thinking more or the pads on the shift forks wore off and are rubbing?? crazy sound for sure

 

Take the drive shaft off and remove the tailshaft housing. There is a snap ring on the output shaft that breaks or comes out of it's groove.

Could it be the ujoint at the yoke?

 

tonight after work im going to pull the rear drive shaft and give it a try.
