Default 1995 to 2003 v10 interchangeable?

Hello I’m new to the forum I have a 1995 2nd gen ram 3500 that someone tried putting an 03 motor in and locally there is a 1996 2500 v10 with the body beat badly that I can get relatively cheap any idea on interchangeability? I would like to make the 03 motor work in my 95 cuz it only has 13k miles but previous owners failed just curious if anyone knows which parts interchange

I don't *think* anything changed, aside from electronics...... If your truck was originally a V-10, and you still have all the stock electronics, you *might* be able to make it work..... bear in mind though, a fair few of the electronics for the 95 aren't available any more......

A shop my buddy worked at went through this, they had an 03 with a seized v10. The motor mount holes are different on an 03 and won't interchange with any other year of v10. Took them months to find one.
