To make it look better, I'll get the 1 1/2 or 2" leveling kit, from somewhere, if it needs it. Like for looks, or whatever. If that doesnt cause crazy issues with other things, like strain the suspension and stuff.
I don't work out of it really(had gotten that other truck for that, the 07 Ram, 2wd). Just want this one to look better if possible. And I wanted to paint it. Black again. Willing to go Maaco, if that's even worth it. I just want it to look as good as it can but for not a fortune?

A leveling kit will not hurt anything as long as it's under 3". Maaco paint jobs are hit and miss, some say they last others say they don't. I do my own painting (I painted my bed) and am planning to paint the truck Plum Crazy Purple. Best advice to you, is do it yourself if you have an air compressor. Look up videos and read a lot and go for. If you mess up (you don't want to and you'll learn after hours of sanding) you'll eventually learn how. I was taught by my dad who taught himself when he drove true mopars from the 70s and 60s in the 80s when he was a teenager. He just picked up a gun and went for it.

Wow. That truck. Damn!
The elec shift fork. Sounds sweet. Never heard of that for these trucks(w/np231). Is the case 231, or 241, or smthn? 1st thought to me is wouldn't it bind or not engage if everything in axle not lined right? But that's thought from someone not knowing as much...YET!

Stainless steel lines sounds sweet too. And seems not that difficult to do those yourself. Take out old rustys, use as template for bending new, reinstall! When I go under this truck I don't have to break out jacks as often as any car! That, I love!
Why the 6.4H and not build up the 5.9?

I just ordered the 2" leveling kit. Hope I don't regret not gettin 1 1 /2".

Man, I keep wheeling mouse up & lookin at that freakin truck while writing! See, that's what I was talkin about!! That's nice a** truck!

Thanks man on the compliments, not exactly where I want it yet but it will be soon. It's a 2500 so 241, and the electric shift fork motor is homemade. If the truck had to be completely level when engaging 4H or 4L then you could do it on a hill or if one wheel was higher (which you can) the only thing that needs to be aligned is the axle shafts splines. With the SS lines that's is exactly what I did. Yes with a higher vehicle means very little Jack use. My 08 PW it's lifted and I can pull the tranny if I needed without jacking up the truck. Remember this when building an engine "There is no replacement for displacement) so if I was to take say $2,500 and sink it into both engines the 6.4L Hemi would always come out on top. You'll be fine mine to me seems like the 3in put the front end up about an inch higher then the rear but I didn't measure so it could be just in my head. 2in you may even have a slight unlevelness, but if you haul anything you want that. Next upgrade I would do if I was you is upgrade to at least 17in rims like I did (Any 1500 wheel from 84-present will fit). As it's usually easier and cheaper to find tires.
