yup... I did find the regulator on line and it makes more sense to buy the whole unit... the reg was $160 bux... the pump assembly was only $40~50 bux more.

 

Hi guys, im just letting youguys all know that I did replace the pump with a new carter pump and the problem was solved. Now all I have to do is grow my hair back from pulling it out, LOL. Also I do want to thank you guys again for all the help it was greatly APPRECIATED.

You're quite welcome for the help. That's what this forum is all about. My only recommendation for growing your hair back, Grecian formula!! Oh, wait!! That's for Graying! Hmmmm...................leave it short. This won't be the last time you'll be tempted to pull it out. I do it on a somewhat regular basis!![sm=pcwhack.gif]

 

I did it myself wich I thought was relitively easy. I did drop the tank instead of lifting the box. Also I unhooked the gas line fitting that is under the driverside door, hooked a hose to it and jumped yhe relay to let the pump run the gas out. This workad pretty good for a minute or so but the it started to pump alot of air.

Doing the pump on the Dodge is much easier than the one on my Chebby S10 PU. That one required me to loosen the bed, and at the very least tilt it up about 3 feet so I could get a everything. I don't think I want to think what it would be like to loosen and raise the bed on the Ram. In any event, glad it all worked out.
