Default torque converter

Thanks for all the help recently concerning transmission installation and not firing. I went and purchased a crankshaft sensor. One other question. Can the torque converter be installed in reverse as long as it locks in and the 4 bolts line up? It has a tab on the outside apparently as it spins, it signals the sensor to fire.

Thanks again,
Ron

I suspect the tab is simply a weight, for balance...... Don't think it matters which way the converter is installed. (so long as your truck is 96 or newer, if you have a 5.9...... should put that info in your sig.)
