PATC (transmissioncenter.net) has some really nice rebuild kits, from mild, to wild. Check 'em out.

I checked them out and sent an email for direction on a good torque converter and rebuild kit for my trans.

Something that helped me rebuild my 46RE valve body, if you've never done an entire rebuild, was a series of videos TransmissionBench.com. Step-by-step detail on breakdown and rebuild. Available on their web site and on YouTube.

No affiliation, but it helped me immensely.

So I got my build sheet and also my plaque was also listed as DGB, does this mean I have some other mystery set up or beefed up trans internals? Just want to have all my ducks in a row

Yeah I saw that, just didn't know if the internals changed from 5500lbs package to 6600lbs package.

thank you, not trying to annoy you with questions.Now that I'm totally solid on the trans, I for sure need a replacement Torque converter. Now I've got a core already to just swap out without core charge Ive found a good deal (may be wrong) but here is the link, it does match my trans stamp number
