I’m waiting on some new leads for my multimeter to come in later this week but until then this evening I miss around with the truck some more. When I first start the engine it will idol around 1000 RPM and then when I put in drive and go for a little bit it runs fine but when I let go of the gas pedal the RPMs go way down in the engine dies then it won’t start again unless I’m pushing down on the gas pedal slightly and I have to keep some constant pressure on the gas pedal to keep engine running. I will test out the TPSwhen my leads come in but do I need to check the idle air control valve? I looked inside the throttlebody and there is hardly any build up but there is a little bit of oil?

Cleaning the throttle body sure won't hurt.

I would definitely check the IAC. I've got two suspects: the TPS or the IAC. The IACs in my opinion are a little shawty- especially the none OEM ones. Their easily faulty and flimsy, the spring has a tendency to work the metal pin/shaft loose (the male piece inserted into the back of the throttle body)- I've seen it happen before and if it's happened then your not getting an adequate air supply to the tb. It's hard to tell unless you have a new IAC to compare lengths but if you take five mins to unscrew it and snap a good profile shot and post it i can get a better idea of it that's the problem.

If nothing else here works, then try removing n cleaning or replacing the intake air temp sensor. When dirty, it sends a false temp code to the ECM n the engine runs too lean or too rich n drives the IAC crazy trying to compensate. It's a simple/easy and super qwik test. If you got something to clean it with , a wrench n approximately 15 minutes...it's almost easier than calling GEICO to save 15%!

Is this what you were looking for? This is the photo looking down the driver side of the throttlebody while holding the throttle open. Is this what you are looking for?

How would be the best way to clean it since this photo is underneath the section between the hood and the windshield. Not sure what that section is called, I’m just a DIY!

Thanks to YouTube I got the throttle body cleaned out and I went to head and ran by Auto-Zone and replaced both the IAC and the Tps l. While reinstalling everything the vacuum hose broke on both sides of the check valve, I have some more vacuum hose but which direction is the check valve supposed to be allowing air to go?

Vacuum flows into the intake.

ive got it running smoothly again but it does seem to have slightly less low end torque than before. Not enough to concern me, I just want to make sure I didn’t miss anything.

Also, don't expect that aftermarket IAC to work as well as the stock one...... I had one in my truck for a couple months, and had occasional stalling issues, no codes. Replaced it with a mopar spare I had layin' about, and the problem disappeared.

Bottom of the manifold looks wet....... Time to fix the plenum?
