Weird Motor Rerplacement Issues: Bushing and Vacuum Line
Hey guys,
Im replacing the motor in my 2000 2500 V10/Auto. Im close to being
finished but encountered two issues. First, I need to know where the
green vaccum line coming out of the front axle attaches to the motor.
I canno find a schematic anywhere, and the donor truck I pulled it
from also had it disconnected.
The second issue - I got the new motor into the truck, finished bolting
everything underneath, swept up the floor and went to bed... the next
morning when I came out to the garage a single tiny pilot bushing was
laying on the ground under the truck. No idea where it could have
possibly come from. Its about the thickeness of a wedding band, the
diameter just smaller than a dime, and a key notch on the side - I
know its tough to visualize but the site isnt currently let me upload
pics so I will get some as soon as I figure out a way to.
Anyway - anyone have any suggestions?

Green line should be coming up from the transfer case, and it is simply a vent line. Doesn't connect anywhere. (should have some kind of cap on it though, so it doesn't readily suck water..... but, it DOES need to be able to breathe.)
As for your second issue, I don't have a clue. Can you upload a pic to imageshack, or photobucket (or similar), and then use image tags to post a pic?

The truck is an automatic, but even if it were a manual this bushing is way, way too
small to be the pilot for this truck... It could almost fit inside the input shaft. And the
more I look at it, the more it looks like a working bushing - its clean and has wear
marks on the inside...
