Default Bedside replacement

I'm swapping out a bedside. I have 2 beds and I have totswap the drivers side bedside. I know I have to drill out all the spot welds and then I'm having a shop reattach the new bedside using 3m body adhesive. Is there anyone here that's done it before that may have some tips or tricks to it?

I've never done a bedside but I've done car quarters. It would be much easier to swap the whole bed from another truck if you could find a good one. Especially if you have to cut the welds from the old side and the replacement side panel too. You will stand a good chance of warping the replacement side causing extra body work.

mine has a big rusted dent on the side of the bed so I'm just swapping the whole bed.

You can get replacement bed sides.
