front band adjusting.

Default front band adjusting.

i can screw the adjustment bolt all way in and it does not get more tight ? Is the band broken then ?

Probably the band strut, or something similar fell out. Drop the pan, see what you find.

Thanks for your reply.
I did take pan off but could not see any problems.. maybe i need to take the "control/valve thing" off? but what happens when i take that off ?

More fluid comes pouring out.

Have a look at the band you are trying to adjust, and check out This thread for how things are supposed to look. Anything different? All the right parts there?

Default How to make the gearshift cable longer.

So i got the transm. back together but now i cant manage to make the cable longer... i have read threads about how to adjust it, but when i follow that procedure it just will not be longer. Does anyone know why, or how to adjust the cable ?
