Default 1999 ram 1500 turbo charge

Has anyone tried to install a turbo charger on 2nd gen ram 1500 5.9 v8? Is this even an option? If so, any advice on brand or where to get one? Initial google search yielded only over $5k plus price. Thanks in advance.

I think at one time there was at least one on here..... (or, maybe it was a dakota) The 5K price for the complete kit is likely pretty close to what you are going to need to spend to make it work in any event.

Back in the day, Stacey David threw a supercharger on a 5.2 to make a "Lil' Red Wagon" like thing. Have to put a new pump and injectors in as well as flash if I remember right. All adds up quick.

There is a kit for a twin turbo set up and the 5K price tag sounds about right. This is available also for the rams trucks.
