I gotta ask, after all them modifications how much hp do you think your truck has gain. Ballpark...

WTF? Thats damn near the cost of a 360 short block!!?? Was it worth it?
every penny!

I think your exhaust now is setup so there is little if any backpressure... if you like it the way it is... then go with the super 40's dual out. it really depends on what your after. go to www.krcperformance.com and look at their dyno page. lots of good info there.

I have no idea... all I do know is that depending on it's configuration, it'll either scream above 3000 rpms with lower low end torque or just the opposite. I'm still fiddling with it and am trying to find the balance of good low end and good upper end power. I can say however with 160k miles on it with the newest addition of Rhoads lifters... it idles like new.

my makeshift dyno's are the hills and mtns nearby. if I can keep it in od and accelerate up the mtns, i'm going in the right direction. anything else is a step backward.

i think the reason why he didnt see any loss in low end tq is instead of running 2.25" tailpipes to produce the backpressure, just adding another muffler like he did made up for that... or close to it..

Thats sounds good though, How long have you had the truck? I feeling kinda cautious about adding too much acessories to my truck and it has 95k on it. I want to but I want it on a fresh engine, but then again my engine may very well clear 200k. Are you planning to keep the truck and rebuilt the engine or get rid of it and look for another? Or possibly get a crate motor and transfer all of your accessories?

ist funny you say that... after taking my old exhaust off and puting my new headers cat and duals on my ram this fall... i had a bunch of extra piping and parts left over ( i did the exhaust completly myself) and my uncle was thinkin about doing something on his... he has a 99 f150 ( iknow..ive yelled at him over and over .. but he loves it..for some god forsaken reason) well i told him it wouldnt be hard to put something on his...since we didnt have the right pipe that was bent for his truck..he went out and bought another 40 series and i fabed up a y pipe and we put on something very simalar to yours... 3 in inlet to dual 40 series with dual outs on each and i took some bends and some straights off my old piping and made some small tailpipes to bend down and out right before his rear tire.. they are just short ones mainly to redirect the exhaust away from the truck... no exactly dumps like yours... the pipes dont measure no more then a foot and a half in total length.. but i had ot build 4 of them wich was a pain... anyway.. it porformance gains was unbeleivable.... i was shocked that we could get that much gain from just and cat back .. home rigged system we did in a few hours.... and especially from spare parts...ive driven his truck before and i noticed a HUGE difference... i defenatly know what you mean when you talk about your dumps... i agree it is a nice setup.. he didnt wanna dump like yours though b.c he carrys his small kids in there and he was worried about the noise in the cab... othre than that i do beleive its a nice set up .. especially how easy it is to fab up...

the cab noise isn't too bad, but there is definatly cab noise. Thats one reason I was considering going to the super 40, plus i'm just wanting to hear something different for a change, I've had the same exhaust for about 9 months now and I want a change-up if you know what I mean.....

btw, I don't have the delta flow 40s. I have the original 2 chamber 40 series.

Also, that sound clip that I did was with my windows rolled up. But it doesn't get loud unless you want it to, or if your cruising at the right rpms, the it can start to get on your nerves....
