Default Rear end help

I've been looking for a new rear end for my Dodge and I can't find any with 4.56 gears in it do they sell those used or new it doesn't matter or do you have to buy the gears separately? This is the only thing keeping my truck off the road anything would help thanks guys!

I think you would have to be EXTREMELY lucky, (on the order of: Buy several lottery tickets) to find a stock rear with 4.56 gears. I am not sure that was ever even an option...... You CAN buy the gears aftermarket though, along with everything you need to install them. (or, my recommendation, have someone ELSE install them.)

ok thank you I wasn't sure because 1. I'm not a mechanic and 2. Everyone I ask tells me to go to a junkyard and get a whole rear end right after I tell them I want to upgrade to 4.56 gears since I have 35s on right now.

If your current rear end is in good condition, just change the gears.
