98 Ram 1500....wholesale purchase, getting stuff buttoned up to get it on the road, I noticed my 4wd shift lever is stuck solid when I tried to put in 4wd in my trailer park. This is my first 4wd, do not know anything about transfer cases, or the workings of a 4wd. I have been told to PB Blast the linkage, but have no idea wat I am looking at. Help?

 

Crawl under and have a look. T-case is the part that the two driveshafts come out of. (one to the front, one to the rear) Linkage will go from shifter above the trans, to the drivers side of the t-case. Spray liberally with PB Blaster.
