trany goes into reverse well but no forward gears new filter and fluid and lucas was shifting ok then all at once nothing

 

Unplug the 8 pin connector on the drivers side of the trans. It goes straight down into the valve body, about halfway back. See if you get any forward gears. (you will have zero automatic function......) If you don't, it's rebuild time.
