Default Please help P1756 and P1762

Ok so I have already read all of the other threads on this and I still have the problem...

2001 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9. 46RE Transmission

my truck wouldnt shift into 3rd gear and my check engine light was on. I scanned it and got the code P1756. After some research I replaced the governor pressure sensor and solenoid. I also adjusted the bands to 72 inch pounds and backed off two turns. New transmission filter and gasket. New ATF +4 fluid.. everything looked great when I dropped the pan, no metal shavings or anything.. everything went smooth and back together no problem. Took it for a test drive and the Transmission shifts perfectly now through all greats.... but.... I’m noticing serious resistance when taking off from a dead stop.. I noticed that the check engine light was still on so I scanned it again to see if it was the same error code.. it’s not. Now I am getting P1762. GOV PRESS SEN OFFSET VOLTS TOO LOW OR HIGH. After some more research I decided to replace the downstream O2 sensor. Didn’t fix it.. then I wanted to do the upstream O2 sensor but decided to test it first. I unplugged it and took it for a drive.. I had all of my power back, but then it wasn’t shifting again.. just like in the beginning. I decided to replace it to see if it was the problem. Hooked the new one up and now I’m currently back to square 2... shifts fine but no power.. it’s like it’s starting off in 2 nd gear. I have to get on it for the truck to get going. Once I’m up to speed everything is fine.. what could my issue be?!?!?

Need to see what the O2 sensors are telling the PCM, and what the PCM thinks governor pressures are.

Also, what brand sensors did you buy?

The first one was Bosch... that was before I read not to buy those. I replaced the upstream with NGK. The truck is acting like it’s slipping severely. It revs up to about 2500+ rpms just to get rolling.. once it gets up to speed, if I stomp on it, it doesn’t downshift like it’s supposed to. I’ve noticed that it does this when the transmission is warmed up.. I noted earlier that it shifted fine, but that was from a cold transmission. I think either the torque converter is bad or maybe the whole transmission??? I’m not sure at this point. This is all new to me.

Unplug the 8 pin connector on the drivers side of the trans. I plugs straight down into the top of the valve body, about half way back. If you have a 4x4, makes it fun to get to......

Go for a drive. The trans will have ZERO automatic function, that means you will have to manually shift. Start out in first, up/down shift when appropriate. You will not have TCC, or O/D.. If the trans shifts into the gear you tell it to, when you tell it to, then you have an electronic problem. If it doesn't...... it's rebuild time.
