2001 RAM 2500 SPORT CUMMINS 4x4. REPLACING PCM. DO I NEED TO REPROGRAM IT?
I HAVE A LAUNCH X431 Creader VII+ SCANNERAuto Diagnostic Tool OBD2 Code Reader Scanner As CRP123. Never done this before.

The new pcm has to be flashed to the correct VIN, otherwise, a few things won't work. (ABS, and SRS, for instance....) If you scan tool also uploads 'enhanced' tunes, you will also need to do that again as well.
