Default Front axle

It seems the lower hole has stretched out to were a new one just slides back in no need for a press. I was told can only change them once sand also been told the metal supposed to go back to oem once the ball joint is out. Rams knuckle is unfortunately all one unit with the axle so the while thing needs to be replaced? I have also heard of guys just using a few welds to hold them kbb place but I'm not to sure about that.

I think someone makes a 'problem solver' ball joint, that has a slightly larger base for just such an occasion. I have also know folks to tack them in, and not have any problems. I suppose, you could heat the knuckle, and then hammer around the outer edge to shrink it a bit......

Default Lower ball joint

Heyyou thanks for the reply. I called a few company's but since it's already had a after.arkwt ball in there they didn't have anything a little bigger. So best bet sounds like a few tacks until something breaks then a new axle it is
