I don't see any difference in specs from that one, to the other one I looked at..... They look amazingly similar. Just a couple degrees difference here and there. And yep, it *says* it works good with stock cam..... Weird.

I think I have found my problem.. At idle the timing is jumping between 7 and 23. At steady pace around 50 mph its around 14 to 15, but jumps as high as 24. When I get in the pedal to goes to 19. Sounds like a tuner will fix my problems, I hope...

Yeah, that's just wrong. You should be pushing 30 degrees or more by the time you get to 2K RPM. Deathflash?

Do you still have your old PCM? Might try tossing that in there, and see what happens.

I spoke with my engine guy and found out they didn't buy a new PCM, just used one out of a running truck they had. From what I hear I think its deathflash. I'm waiting to hear back from Hemifever now. I know Hughes sells those also but its a 3 week wait. By the way, I really appreciate your help, thanks!

I think at that time my mechanic was trying different things to maybe hit on something.

Some things you might want to try to address this issue, as it seems to revolve around engine timing/advance - I would do these one at a time with testing afterwards to see what fixes the issue:

1. Re-install the original PCM
2. Check to ensure that the firing order is correct
3. Pull the distributor cap and try to move the shaft the rotor is on from side to side - if you feel any side to side play in the shaft, replace the distributor

Did you set the fuel sync with a scan tool?????????????????? I had set mine by hand and although to the naked eye it looked perfect when running the computer said it was 6 degrees retarded. It picked up some when I fixed that.
Also I had a bad coil kill my power and cause all sorts of timing issues, especially above 2800rpm. By the time I had found out the coil was the culprit it wouldn't rev above 3000rpm at WOT. The computer controls timing through the coil ground somehow. That coil was a brand new msd coil, tossed it for a new oem and it ran great after that, I had these issues on a supercharged 5.9 durango I had bought with a blown motor.
