i have a 01 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 which recently had a remanufactured engine put in. The engine that it previously had was burning a quart of oil every 250 miles, so not much compression. The issue I am having is the reman feels as if it has the same power as the old engine. Could the PCM still be running like the old engine or is it just the fact that’s its a 5.2?

I did it myself, new CAT, O2 sensors, Hughes intake plenum, wires, plugs, and timed dead nuts
