Engine turns but won't start after I swapped out transmission

Default Engine turns but won't start after I swapped out transmission

I just swapped out the transmission on my 2000 Dodge Ram with 5.2 l swap the ignition also key turns starter rolls over it's getting gas it won't crank can somebody help me

I bet you destroyed the crank sensor doing the trans R&R.

I don't think I did. I took it out before I pulled the tranny from the motor. it was in one piece. I was reading something about the air gap and a paper gasket? If I did destroy it will that cause me to not get my plugs to fire?

and when you said I would need the electronics where you talkin about the shift solenoids inside the pan or were you talking about the sensors outside on the transmission

I would take a look at the crank sensor, and verify that it is still in one piece. No gasket for it that I am aware of. If the sensor is damaged, the truck most certainly will not run.

I noticed you said, " l swap the ignition also". Are you saying you replaced the distributor ***'y?
