Default Overdrive thunking

In my 2000 RAM 1500 w/ 5.2 318 V8 2WD, I've got a random yet repetitious 'thunk' (almost like a misfire) from as soon as I hit OD until my rpms are 1800 or higher. already replaced U-Joints and corrected thunk from stop. ANy Idea's? This problem has rapidly gotten worse over the last 10 Days

I changed the plugs/cap/wires/rotor roughly 40k miles ago. Also did thorough throttle body cleaning and IAC replacement. Did smoke test over open oil fill home and no vacuum is present. Thanks

What plugs? 40K miles, it's likely time for new ones.... (along with cap/rotor.)

You're totally right, they were the standard champion copper plugs and they were worn to .055 gap, I personally gapped them to .040 on install last year, just couldn't believe they went bad so fast (it seemed). New plugs wires etc fixed my problem, thank you!!
