Any ideas
hey guys new to this shin dig but I got a 98 2500. Everything on my dash works while drivin down the highway but for some reason my rpm gauge just goes crazy even at an idle and every now and then I’ll have some lights kick on while driving. I think it may be a short somewhere but I’m not 100% sure. Appreciate any help.

Remove the dash bezel (it just pops out with a little pull) and remove the gauge cluster to see what's going on behind. It is a self-contained unit that literally plugs into a connection. Maybe it's a bit loose? Maybe bad contact?
