Default The Beast is "back" but with some issues

The truck has been sitting a few years. I have finally gotten around to replacing the brake lines that needed done. I've had some issues bleeding the lines but the brakes work. The thing that confuses me is my BRAKE light on my dash now blinks. What does that mean? and How do I fix it?

The other issue I've noticed is I'm getting smoke from my vents. I'm worried it's my heater core. Is there anything else that would cause that issue?

Thanks for the help guys and hopefully I'll be back around a little soon

Is it the break and abs light? Is it smoke or condensation when you turn on the ac? If it's smoke look at the fan speed resistor.

I believe it's just the brake light, not the abs.

The heater/ac isn't even on when I get the "smoke". It starts coming out soon after I start the truck

Wow, been awhile beasty!

Brake light blinking should throw a code. Can you get to a store to read it?

Which vents does the smoke come out of? Does it smell? Is it like steam or slow vapor like something burning?

I can check it with my SCT. I wasn't sure if that was something that would show up as a code or not.

I've mainly noticed it from the center vents and defrost vents. I don't really smell anything and when I turn the heat on it doesn't get any worse or anything

Maybe something got in there and built a nest?
