Default e-fan, which setup is better ?

I am going to ditch the fan clutch soon and wanted some feedback , should I use two 14" fans or just one junkyard mark 8 setup? You guys with e fans know what I mean right, pics appreciated.

I used fans from an LS1 camaro. They fit very well in the stock shroud. I used a 1 x 2 piece off aluminum as a spacer on the bottom. You can get them for around $100-125.

that looks pretty good, do you have an idea what the amp draw is going to be?

I don't know what the amp draw is. Sorry. It fit good and only took a little trimming to make it fit nice. It cools the truck off quick when they kick in.

Twin fans would fit the radiator better and flow better than a single fan. I have a Flexalite duel fan but i'm still using the stock fan also(long story). The Flexalite will fit right up on the radiator and has a mini shroud. It will leave a bit at the top and bottom that the shroud doesn't cover but with my set up it wasn't a big deal. If you are only using the electric fans make a shroud that cover the whole cooling surface of the rad. The fan is only half of it. Controlling it is the other half. I would look into the variable speed fans/controllers as it will flow more when needed rather than just coming on(at full speed) at a set temp.

This is the fan i have.

I have this https://www.tcpperformance.com/2068736 setup on my 01' ram 1500 4x4. It is MUCH better then the stock mechanical fan! All the drag associated with the mechanical fan is gone. When swapping to a electric fan setup remember the fans are only half of it. You need to install a good quality fan controller to make your system reliable. I went through 3 sh!**y fan controller from Derale (their PWM controllers). And 3 times i was left stuck on the side of the road because they failed. Now im running Dakota Digital 70 amp fan controller http://www.dakotadigital.com/index.c...rod/prd852.htm Have been for 3 years with out issue. I definitely recommend it!
