Where to get a decent priced Plow????

Default Where to get a decent priced Plow????

hey guys/girls i havent been on in awhile but i was wondering if you could help me? i want to put a 7' Western or Boss plow on my 1996 dodge ram 1500 4x4 Sport. buti dont want a brand new one i dont have 3,500 laying around. but if anycould help me with what i should do to my truck to make it function properly and safe with a plow or if anyone is selling their plow. thanks alot

I'd look in your local Truck Trader or check out the classifieds here: http://www.plowsite.com/ I think you have to register to view the classifieds.

Get an auxiliary tranny cooler and a set of coils that will hold the extra weight.

The local truck trader or classifieds (as mentioned) is the best place to look. Sometimes ebay can be a good place too, if you can find one in your area.

As mentioned, you'll want to add an aux. cooler and replace your front coils. It'll make it a lot easier on your truck.

You may also want to think about looking into a Meyer or a Poly Boss. They're lighter than the a steel Boss or a Western plow would be. It would be easier on your truck, but that's just a suggestion.
