What exactly is the stall speed? I don't know transmissions and aa curious.
A very basic explanation is the speed at which it grabs. Converters are fluid filled and have a lot of slip by nature. Below stall speed lower will be transferred to the wheels but not all of it. At stall speed it becomes "more solid" kinda like releasing a clutch on a standard trans. And then there's converter lockup which is when it actually forms a true solid connection.
