Got a problem I'm trying to wrap my head around. I want to use 6 12 volt batteries to end up with 36 Volts. I know, just use 3, and problem solved...but, for the sake of argument, I have to use 6. Is there a way to hook them up in both series and parallel to end up with 36 Volts....? Though about hooking 3 in parallel then hooking each battery to another in series....not sure if it would work..... Any help?

 

 

Yeah, tried that first. Didn't answer my question, Google apparently doesn't know everything. Unless of course I missed one...

Still haven't fully answered my question, but it's obviously do-able.

 

Two banks of three batteries in series. Both banks parallel to each other. 36 volts, LOTS of amps.
